RETURN & REFUND POLICY

All Wabaaw lighting is crafted on commission—created uniquely for you. Once ordered, production begins immediately, guided by intention and mastery. Because each piece is bespoke and never held in stock, all sales are final.
REPORT DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
Each Wabaaw piece is prepared, packaged, and dispatched with precision.
Should your piece arrive visibly harmed during delivery, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt. This timing is essential.
Submit the following documentation to relations@wabaaw.com:
– A clear photo of the outer shipping box or crate
– A full-view photo of the delivered piece
– A detailed image of the damaged area
– A short written description of the condition observed
This allows us to initiate a formal claim with our logistics partner and begin resolution on your behalf. Any report submitted beyond 24 hours from confirmed delivery may render the claim inadmissible under carrier and insurance terms.
Damage must be reported prior to installation, mounting, or alteration. Any modifications to the piece or its packaging after delivery may affect eligibility for replacement or refund.
RESOLUTION PROCEDURE
Once your documentation has been received and reviewed, Wabaaw will determine the appropriate course of resolution based on the nature and extent of the damage.
If feasible, we may offer replacement components or corrective parts to restore the piece to its intended state.
If replacement is not possible or not accepted, Wabaaw will arrange for the return of the damaged piece. Return delivery for verified transit damage will be coordinated and covered by us.
Returned items must be repacked with the same precision as received. All arms, crystal elements, and structural details must be placed in their original positions and protected using the original packaging materials. Improper repacking may result in further damage and may affect eligibility for a full refund or repair.
Each resolution is assessed individually, with care and clarity.
REFUND METHOD & TIMELINE
If a return is approved following verified transit damage and the piece is received in proper condition, a refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Inspection begins upon safe arrival of the returned piece. Once confirmed, the refund will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. Depending on your banking provider, funds may appear within 3 to 15 business days following release.
Please note: refunds are issued only after return delivery is completed and the piece has been inspected to ensure it reflects the condition reported at the time of claim.
Refunds will not be granted for items that are damaged due to improper repacking, installation, or alterations made after delivery.
EXEMPTIONS & LIMITATIONS
Wabaaw pieces are handcrafted in limited form, using cut crystal and artisanal processes. Minor variations in tone, structure, or surface detail are inherent to this process and are not considered defects.
These distinctions reflect the nature of true craftsmanship. Subtle asymmetries, slight irregularities in crystal formation, or the natural shift of hand-applied finishes may occur. They do not diminish the value of the piece—they confirm its origin.
Requests for return or refund based on these qualities will not be accepted. Only material damage sustained in verified transit incidents qualifies for formal resolution.
Additionally, Wabaaw does not accept claims resulting from:
– Incorrect installation or mounting
– Modifications made after delivery
– Improper storage or handling
– Cosmetic preferences, lighting performance, or change of intent
Each piece is created with precision and purpose. Its reception marks the closing of its journey, and the beginning of its role in your space.
EUROPEAN UNION RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
For clients within the European Union, the standard right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery applies to most goods under Directive 2011/83/EU.
However, Wabaaw lighting pieces are made to order—created in direct response to your selection, and crafted individually with no held inventory. In accordance with Article 16(c) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
By placing an order with Wabaaw, you acknowledge and agree that your selection initiates a bespoke creation process. As such, you waive the automatic right of cancellation or return, except in the case of verified structural damage incurred during transit and reported within the required timeframe.
This exemption protects the integrity of rare, made-to-order works and reflects the standard held by Wabaaw in its commitment to true luxury.
